“Marlene® Celebrates 30 Years” Prize Contest
The contest is promoted by VOG, with registered office at Via Jakobi 1/A, 39018 Terlano, Italy – VAT/Tax Code No. 00122310212 (hereinafter the “Promoter” or “Promoting Company”). The party delegated to manage the contest is sdm società benefit Srl, Via Ariberto 24, 20123 Milan – VAT and Tax Code No. 12079020157.
Participation is open to natural persons aged 14 and over who correctly register for the contest. Employees of the Promoting Company and/or the Delegated Entity, as well as employees of agencies professionally involved in organising the contest, are excluded from participation.
The contest will be promoted via the website 30.marlene.it, social media channels, at points of
sale, and any other means the Promoter deems suitable.
All promotional messages will be consistent with the present Official Rules.
The full version of the rules will be available at 30.marlene.it.
The contest may be announced prior to its official start date, in compliance with applicable
regulations (D.P.R. 430/2001).
To participate and compete for the prizes, users must create an artistic work falling under one of
the following categories: literature, music, art, or recipes, interpreting the theme "Marlene –
Daughter of the Alps" by exploring one or more of the following aspects:
• The origin (father, mother, climate) of Marlene
• The creative process from bud to apple
• The seasons – Marlene as the result of the harmonious alternation of the seasons
• The varietal assortment of Marlene apples
• Sustainability and environmental responsibility
• The anniversary and emotions or memories related to Marlene (personal or fictional stories
about the apple: childhood, family, life seasons; a taste that evokes memories and creates
emotional connections)
• The apple as a symbol of health, balance and natural lifestyle
• Marlene and the territory (the deep connection between Marlene and South Tyrol:
landscapes, culture, agricultural tradition; the apple as an expression of Alpine territory, its
history and people)
Steps to participate:
1. Visit 30.marlene.it during the contest period
2. Complete the registration form in full and follow the on-screen video instructions
3. Select one of the following categories: “literature”, “music”, “art”, “recipes”
4. Review the privacy policy and confirm acceptance of both the privacy terms and these

5. If the participant is a minor, consent must be given by a parent or legal guardian via a
checkbox
6. Create and upload an artistic work ("Artistic Work" or "Work") in the appropriate format for
the chosen category interpreting the theme "Marlene – Daughter of the Alps"
7. Upload the Work (accepted formats: jpg, png, pdf, doc, docx, mp4 – max file size: 10MB)
8. Provide a title, description, and source of inspiration for the Work
9. Declare whether the Work was created with the aid of Artificial Intelligence
10. Declare that the Work is original, unpublished, and that the participant holds all related
copyrights
11. Grant, free of charge, the economic rights to the Work and authorise the Promoter to use
the participant’s name, surname, and image
All the above declarations and authorisations are mandatory for uploading the Work.
Note: The uploaded Work must be final and cannot be modified after submission.
The data from all registrations will be stored for the purpose of awarding the
designated prizes.
Each user may register and participate in this contest only once.
With regard to the artistic works submitted, it is specified that the Promoting Company will subject
them to moderation, and will not allow the participation of any submissions that:
• are clearly in violation of legal regulations;
• are in poor taste, vulgar, obscene, or offensive to common moral, political, or religious
standards;
• contain content or references of any kind to animal abuse;
• contain content that incites hatred or violence;
• unlawfully and/or improperly exploit and/or use in a harmful or degrading way the
trademarks or distinctive signs (whether word or figurative marks) of the Promoting
Company and/or any other company or brand;
• contain trademarks/logos of third parties;
• contain any form of direct or indirect advertising for any activity, product, or service;
• include recognizable images of minors or, more generally, feature third parties;
• violate, in any way, the rights of third parties, including but not limited to copyright,
trademarks, and/or other intellectual and/or industrial property rights;
• contain inappropriate content that, at the sole discretion of the Promoting Company, is
deemed unsuitable.
Submissions that pass the above moderation will be published in the contest gallery on
the website 30.marlene.it
The user will be informed of the result of the moderation via an email sent to the address provided
during the contest registration.
By submitting a Work, the participant (or the parent/legal guardian if the participant is a minor)
declares to be the sole author and rights holder and indemnifies the Promoter against any third-
party claims.
The participant also declares that the Work is original and unpublished, and authorises VOG to use
it for promotional purposes related to the contest.
The participant warrants that no part of the submitted Work violates any applicable laws or third-
party rights, including intellectual property, copyright, moral rights, or data protection laws.
By accepting these Rules, the participant agrees that, in case of winning, they shall grant the
Promoter, free of charge, all economic rights to the Work, including the right to use, adapt,
publish, distribute, and reproduce the Work without limitation.
Participants must ensure they have obtained all necessary releases from any third parties featured
in the Work.
By accepting the prize, the winner authorises the Promoter to:
Reproduce and publish the Work, or parts of it, including edits, for any lawful purpose, including
commercial
Exploit the Work economically in any manner allowed by law, waiving any future claims
Retain economic exploitation rights, while acknowledging the author's moral rights
The use of the winning Work by the Promoter is considered free and irrevocable.
By 15 December 2025, a jury of five (5) appointed members from the Promoter will convene in
the presence of a Public Official (Notary or Chamber of Commerce officer) to evaluate all eligible
entries.
For each category, 1 winner and 1 reserve will be selected, ranked accordingly.
A Final Prize winner and reserve will also be selected from all categories combined.
Judging criteria:
-Aesthetic quality of the Work
-Relevance to the contest celebration theme
-Emotional impact conveyed by the Work
The jury’s decisions are final and irrevocable.
A pre-selection may be conducted (in agreement with the Public Official) to shortlist 10 entries per
category deemed most compliant with the rules and worthy of final jury evaluation.

The “7-Night Holiday Voucher in South Tyrol” prize includes:
• accommodation for 7 days and 6 nights at one of the “Gallo Rosso” farms chosen by the
winner;
• round-trip transfer from the train station/airport closest to the winner’s place of residence
to the hotel, up to a maximum of €500.
The prize does NOT cover anything not expressly mentioned in the prize description.
Any additional costs beyond the allocated budget for the prize will be borne by the winner.
The prize must be booked by 31/01/2026.
The prize must be used by 31/01/2027.
The “Internship Voucher with Norbert Niederkofler” prize includes:
• accommodation for 1 person for 7 days and 6 nights at a facility chosen by the promoter;
• round-trip transfer from the train station/airport closest to the winner’s place of residence
to the hotel, up to a maximum of €500;
• internship at the Atelier Mössmer Norbert Niederkofler.
The prize does NOT cover anything not expressly mentioned in the prize description.
Any additional costs beyond the allocated budget for the prize will be borne by the winner.
The prize must be booked by 31/12/2026.
The prize must be used by 31/01/2027.
The total prize pool amounts to €19,000.00 (VAT excluded, if applicable).
Please note that all entries will be subject to moderation by the Promoting Company, including
through third-party companies appointed for this purpose. If the entry does not meet the required
criteria, it will not be confirmed, nor will any prize eventually won.
Each winner will receive a notification at the email address provided during registration.
Specifically, the winner must reply to the received email within 7 days of the notification by
sending:
• a completed and signed prize acceptance release form;
• a declaration of transfer of the economic exploitation rights of the artistic work created,
used for participation in the contest and selected;
• a front and back copy of a valid identity document (the document’s data must match the
data provided at the time of registration and the document must be valid and not expired).
N.B. In the case of a minor participant, the prize acceptance form and the declaration of rights
transfer for the submitted work must be signed by the parents or legal guardian.
All the authorizations and transfers of rights mentioned above are binding for the delivery of any
prize won.
The prize will be considered unassigned and therefore will be awarded to the reserve winner in the
following cases:
• if the winner fails to send the required documentation within the specified time and in the
manner indicated;
• if the winner is under the age of 18;
• if the winner’s data does not match what was declared during contest registration;
• for any reason that makes the winner’s participation invalid.
It is also specified that the Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of the documentation
related to all entries, conducting any checks deemed necessary, and reserves the right to request,
at its sole discretion, additional documentation at any time, even after the contest has ended,
including but not limited to:
• a front and back copy of a valid identity document, for verification of the data provided at
the time of registration;
• a declaration of authorship of the artistic work created and used to participate in the
contest.
Prizes will be delivered by the Promoter (or delegated party) within 180 days from the end of the contest, as per D.P.R. 430/2001. Vouchers will be emailed. The Promoter is not liable for incorrect email addresses or technical issues. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not convertible into cash. If the promised prize is unavailable at the time of delivery, an alternative of equal or greater value will be offered.
Prizes not claimed or awarded (excluding those declined) will be donated to: Bäuerlicher Notstandfonds, Leegtorweg 8/A, 39100 Bozen, Tax Code 94025800213, as per Art. 10(5) D.P.R. 430/2001.
The accuracy and truthfulness of the data provided at the time of registration are essential
conditions for participation.
Each participant may register and participate in the contest only once: it is necessary to use real
data (which must correspond to those indicated on their identity document). Multiple registrations
attributable to the same individual (for example, using different email addresses) will invalidate
participation in the contest. If at any time the Promoter verifies non-compliance with this
condition, the participant and all accounts linked to them will be disqualified from receiving any
prizes won. This check may also take place during the prize validation phase and in any case
before the prize is delivered.
Entries and/or winnings obtained through the use of software or temporary or non-existent email
addresses, or those considered suspicious, fraudulent, which do not guarantee the uniqueness of
the participant or violate the contest rules, if identified or deemed such by the means and
knowledge available to the Promoter, will be canceled.
The Promoting Company, or companies appointed by it to manage the contest, reserve the right to
act, at their discretion and in compliance with current laws, to limit and prevent any attempts to
circumvent the system put in place.
All communications related to participation in the contest will be sent to the email address used
during participation.
• The Promoting Company assumes no responsibility regarding participants for whom:
• the mailbox is full or temporarily or permanently disabled;
• the email address provided is incorrect, incomplete, or blacklisted;
• there is no response from the recipient host after the email is sent;
• the telephone number provided is incorrect or no longer active.
The Promoting Company assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged entries and/or messages
during online transmission, those received after the deadline, or those with incorrect data.
The Promoting Company assumes no responsibility for any access issues, impediments,
malfunctions, or difficulties related to the technical tools used by the user to participate in the
contest. For example: computers, cell phones, smartphones, tablets, hardware and cabling in
general, software, telephone line for internet connectivity.
Participation in this contest is completely free.
Participation in the contest implies the participant’s implicit acceptance of these rules in their
entirety and without any reservation.
The Promoting Company reserves the right to modify, even partially and at any time, the methods
of participation in the contest, giving adequate notice, without introducing worsening changes and
safeguarding rights already acquired by participants.

A 100% prize value surety bond has been issued in favour of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made
in Italy.
The Promoter waives any tax claim against winners (Art. 30 D.P.R. 600/73). VAT on taxable prizes
is non-deductible.
The system managing contest entries and selections will comply with public faith protection
standards, including:
