Anyone aged 14 and over is welcome to take part. If a selected participant is under 18, we will need written consent from a parent or legal guardian before the surprise can be awarded. Participation is open to everyone, not just customers of the organizer, and does not require the purchase of any product or service.
On our contest website, you can take part in four categories: Visual Arts, Music, Literature or Culinary Arts. Simply upload your work in the relevant category. Simply upload your work in the category that best fits. Multiple entries are not allowed – only one submission in one category can be entered. Further information can be found on our homepage.
Entries are accepted in the four categories: Visual Arts, Culinary Arts, Literature and Music. The maximum file size allowed is specified directly in the relevant submission form. Please note: offensive, racist, sexist or otherwise insulting content is strictly prohibited and will not be admitted to the contest.
Yes, the use of Artificial Intelligence is permitted. However, please indicate at the time of upload if your work was created (partly or entirely) with the help of AI.
The selected entries in Visual Arts, Literature, Music and Culinary Arts will be presented in a variety of ways throughout the anniversary year: in print ads, calendars, as part of audio or video content, on our website, or even directly on the label of our Marlene® apples.
By participating in the Marlene® contest, you agree that your submitted works may be used for promotional purposes in the organiser’s analogue and digital media. The usage rights to the selected works will be transferred fully, exclusively, without expiry date and without geographical limitation to VOG – Consortium of South Tyrolean Fruit Growers Cooperatives coop. soc. agr.

The selected participants are selected by a panel of experts consisting of multiple decision-makers.
The selected participants will be notified by email after the submission deadline has passed.
30 days of holiday at a “Gallo Rosso” farm accommodation in South Tyrol – Südtirol – redeemable all at once or split over several trips, according to your preference.
As soon as your work has been manually reviewed, you will automatically receive an email confirming that it has been published in the gallery and is participating in the contest.
In addition to the main surprise, there are four other great surprises – one per category. Each category offers a one-week holiday in South Tyrol - Südtirol. In the Culinary Arts category, for example, the selected participant will also enjoy a cooking class with Michelin-starred chef Norbert Niederkofler. Exciting surprises await in the other categories as well.
Each work will be manually reviewed and generally approved shortly after submission.
If you do not receive a publication notification after submission, your work was likely rejected.
Works are only rejected if they violate our terms of participation – for example, through offensive, racist, sexist content or infringement of third-party rights. If you believe your work was wrongly rejected, please contact us at: info@marlene.it.
